Your Application Journey to the 26th World Scout Jamboree
We’re with you every step of the way on your journey to Poland 2027. This page outlines the key milestones of the application journey. Check out the timeline below to see how we’ll get from now to the World Scout Jamboree!
Register Your Interest
Welcome to the start of your Jamboree adventure! By registering your interest, you’ll stay in the loop with all the latest updates, key dates, and important announcements. You’ll be the first to know when applications open and the next steps are revealed, so you won’t miss a thing!
Applications Open
The application portal will be live! This is your official chance to apply to be part of the Australian Contingent. Keep in mind that while submitting your application is exciting, it doesn’t guarantee a spot just yet. At this stage, a deposit will be required, which will be refunded if your application isn’t accepted.
Unit Allocation
After your application is approved, you’ll enter the 'waiting pool' for Unit allocation. Our transparent Unit Allocation Clustering Model will ensure a fair and thoughtful process, considering factors like leadership experience, gender balance, geography, and more. We’ll release more info closer to the date, so you can feel confident in the process.
Application Accepted
Once you’ve been allocated to a Unit and attended Meet-Camp, congratulations! Your application is officially accepted, and you’re on your way to the Jamboree.
O-Camp (Orientation Camp)
At O-Camp, you’ll get all the final details for the Jamboree, including your patrol assignments. Your patrol is a smaller group within your Unit that you’ll spend most of your Jamboree with. During O-Camp, you’ll also elect a Patrol Leader to help guide your group throughout the adventure.
Australian Program Released
We’ll be sharing details about the exciting opportunities that come with attending the Jamboree, including pre- and post-tour options and associated costs. If you’ve signed up for "Register Your Interest," you’ll get this information straight to your inbox before anyone else.
Provisional Approval
Your application has been received and is being reviewed by your GL, Branch and Scouts Australia. Upon passing these checks you’ll receive your provisional letter of approval inviting you to attend Meet Camp, we’ll keep you posted as we work through this.
Meet-Camp
Get ready to bond with your Unit! Meet-Camps across Australia will give you a chance to connect with your fellow Scouts and start building the friendships that will make your Jamboree experience unforgettable.
Swag Time
Look out for your Australian Contingent kit and merchandise! It’ll arrive in the mail, giving you something to wear with pride as you count down the days to Poland.
Leave for Poland
The big moment has arrived—off to Poland for an incredible experience at the World Scout Jamboree 2027! This will be the adventure of a lifetime, and we can’t wait to see you there!
